Nigel Cabourn Clip Sweater. A sweater, well we maybe should call it a jacket because of it’s heavy fabrics and textiles. Nigel Cabourn has made this piece with inspiration from designs of the US Military archives, the clip fastening was developed in the 1930’s for the US Navy. The exclusive japanese fabric used is woven on a special vintage machine. These machines were exported from Europe to Japan, and now only around 200 machines existist. It has a slow knitting process so the fabric last long and is very robust. Get it the sweater on 50% sale over at Nitty Gritty.
